The second cabin is a two-bedroom one-bath, queen sleeper sofa in the living room, total of 8 guests. It also has a full kitchen that is fully stocked and a living room. The two cabins face a common rear patio area that includes three picnic tables which will seat 14 guests. We do allow well-behaved pets subject to approval, so please let us know if you intend on bringing your furry friend. Fee is $129.00 for each pet which covers their entire stay. Not only because we felt VERY SAFE on the road going up the mountain on a DOUBLE LANE HWY ALL THE WAY to the Lake Gregory cutoff but mainly because we are only an hour and 15 minutes away from our Beach House to the Lake House. We can surf in the morning and then ski, snowboard or inner tube that afternoon as Snow Summit is just 15-20 minutes away from the Lake House. The other reasons we choose Lake Gregory is its close proximity to Los Angeles & Orange County. It's only a 1 hour drive from downtown LA and a 1 hour drive from downtown Disneyland which is located in Anaheim CA. This made it very easy for our friends to visit us and spend the day in the mountains and enjoy the Lake. We are also only a short 10 minute drive to Lake Arrowhead where we enjoy visiting Alpine Village with all it's shops (but we also can escape from the crowds in a split second) and we also enjoy the Sunday Brunch at Woody's, in Alpine Village, our favorite dessert after the brunch is the Banana's Foster … made to order … YUMMM!!!! If you feel like enjoying a breathtaking mountain drive (sometimes scary at times), you can drive to Big Bear, only 45 minutes away, there you can enjoy more shopping, and more restaurants but why drive all the way there when you can relax and enjoy your vacation at our Lake Front House sitting in front of the fireplace looking at the beautiful lake view or taking a short 10 minute walk to downtown and enjoy our wonderful shops and delicious restaurants. So please come, bring your swim suits and enjoy yourselves, you will absolutely love it!!!!

This tastefully decorated cabin is approximately 2,400 sq. ft. and boasts an upfront panoramic lake view from almost every room in the house! You will not grow tired of looking at the view from one of our 2 balconies. Parking for 4 cars leads directly into the primary entry level living area which includes a bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom, (perfect for guests who might have difficulty with stairs). The main level offers an open floor plan for plenty of guests to gather for a game of pool, meals, and games around the large dining table, a nice fire by the rock fireplace, central heat, (NO AC), fans in every room, movies on the flat screen television and dvd player. Our multi-level Crestline home has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and 2 patio decks with beautiful views overlooking nearby Lake Gregory. This spacious 2,000 square foot house sleeps 10+. The large kitchen includes a refrigerator, oven, microwave et al and comes with plates, glassware, utensils and cooking equipment. A washer and dryer is available on the middle floor. The bottom floor includes a bar and entertainment area including an XBOX 360 with games for the kids, a dart board, movies and games. We also have fishing poles with tackle for the lake. Nearby activities include sledding, snowboarding and skiing. Silverwood Lake is also nearby for water skiing and wake boarding. Our home takes our breath away and we think it will take yours away too! The bird’s eye view from the living room and deck is stunning. As you drive up the mountain and start to decompress, you will find yourself breathing in the fresh air and feeling a million miles away from it all. At night when the moon shines bright it casts light across the lake and when the moon is small, the stars are spectacular. From the kitchen and master bedroom, the view of the mountains out into the distance captures you as the sun rises over them in the morning. The home is on a large lot with an empty lot next door and sits up on a hill (that’s why we named it The Perch). Blue Jays are out and about along with other many species of birds. The lake is a short 1/2 mile walk just across the street from the grocery store.

Welcome to my mountain home located in the very desirable San Moritz area of Crestline and surrounded by tall Jeffrey Pine and Incense Cedar. The home is furnished with mountain style furnishings, many are one of a kind pieces. Conveniently, the home has street level entrance with a parking deck for 2 to 3 cars. No long stairs to get to the front door that is so common to mountain homes with views. Four of the five sleeping rooms have direct access to a balcony looking to the mountains and Lake Gregory. The home is located about 6 miles from Lake Arrowhead and 6 miles from Silverwood Lake. Yet, only 15 minutes drive to the city of San Bernardino. Walk to Lake Gregory and grocery shopping. A skate park for the kids is about 1 mile away. Both Silverwood Lake and Lake Gregory are stocked with fish. You can keep your eye on your little Lake Gregory fisherman from the upper balcony. Goodwin's, a large grocery store, is less than a mile away. The house has three stories, each with its own balcony. Two families will be well accommodated for. The first floor includes the kitchen and family room with a half bath. The second floor has two full baths and three bedrooms. The third floor has a half bath, bedroom with bunk beds, and a family room with a queen bed, couch and table and is well separated from the rest of the house via a spiral staircase and two outside doors, giving privacy to a second family. The queen bed on the third floor, effectively makes five comfortable sleeping areas. As with most mountain homes, my home does not have air conditioning. We are proud of our Lake Gregory. Besides fishing, in the summer it is open to swimming and sunbathing on a well maintained sandy beach. Lifeguards are on constant duty. People come from miles around just to use one of two 300 foot water slides. Available for rent are kayaks, row boats, paddle boats, and electric fishing boats. Motor boats are not allowed on the lake which keeps our lake clean and the fish healthy.In winter, you can ski at two resorts. Snow Valley is about 15 miles away. The home is situated about 4,600 feet in elevation so gets its share of snow. The home is centrally heated as well. Wireless Internet service is provided by Charter Communications. When you rent my home, you will find the kitchen is well equipped to accommodate a large group of people. You do have to supply your own towels and wash cloths and trash bags. We supply the sheets, pillow cases and the blankets. Please note that I have numerous beautifully done taxidermy mounts about the house. All are museum quality. If you do not want to see animal skin rugs and mounted deer heads, etc., please do not inquire into renting my home. The home has a capacity for up to 15 people. It's only a half an hour from Snow Valley for skiing and snowboarding. The space The Starlight Lodge is a peaceful retreat in the gorgeous San Moritz neighborhood of Crestline. Upstairs, enjoy wood beamed, vaulted ceilings, a generously appointed kitchen ready for a gourmet meal, a luxurious master bedroom with king sized bed, a guestroom with bunk beds (twin over full) filled with games like darts, shuffleboard, backgammon and puzzles, and a cozy living room with comfortable seating and an inviting gas fireplace. The large deck has a picnic table, hammock, and daybed so the whole group can enjoy the mountain air. Through a secret bookcase door, you will enter the Enchanted Annex. This space has an additional living room with fireplace, tv and game system, a full bathroom, and two bedrooms whimsically decorated with fantasy themes. The Narnia bedroom has a full sized bed and a couch that lays flat and can be used as an additional bed. It also has a small desk that can be used for work or writing. The Secret Garden bedroom has a hanging queen sized bed adorned with floral garland. (please do not allow children unattended in this room. The bed is not made for aggressive swinging, but for a gentle rocking. Any damaged caused by incorrect use will be charged to the guests). There is another full bathroom on this floor for the convenience of those staying in the downstairs bedroom. And just outside the door there is a porch swing underneath the deck. PET POLICY: We frequently host an elderly family member who is severely allergic to pets. Because of this, we ask that guests leave their furry pals at home. Although we love animals, for the safety of my mom, we must remain pet free. Other things to note This is a mountain town and is regularly effected by snow and inclement weather. It is required by law for you to travel with chains in the winter. Very dense fog can also be a problem. Please use caution when traveling. Please note, San Bernardino Short Term Rental laws dictate that cars for VRBO units may not exceed the number of spaces available. So if traveling in a group, you may bring no more than 4 cars (two parked on the upper deck, two parked on the lower part of the property) You may be cited for any infractions of this rule. The 54 steps leading down to the cabin from the top parking deck are lit with solar lights but they may be dim or out if the day has been cloudy. Please be prepared to use a flashlight to navigate the staircase if you get in after dark We ask that guests remove their shoes when inside the lodge due to to the mud and forest debris that can be tracked in. If you do not want to be barefoot, bring socks or slippers for your stay!

Within steps to the lake & town, the cabin has been completely remodeled with many luxury touches and comfort in mind. Not only is there an outdoor hot tub, but also an oversized jetted tub in the master suite with spa amenities. You will find fresh herbs lining the patio where you can sit with a glass of wine around the fire pit or play some Jenga at the picnic tables. The kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need to prepare and cook meals. This house is great for families, couples, birthdays, wedding groups and other relaxed getaways. We've worked hard to make this a very nice and comfortable place to stay and make memories and strive to keep it that way. This is not the place for house parties! It is a tri-level home. The main living space (kitchen, dining rm, living rm, Den/4th bedroom, laundry rm, Doggie Den, and 1 bathroom) are located on the entry floor. The huge master suite is the entire bottom floor, and the top floor has two bedrooms and bathroom. There are new televisions in each bedroom as well as the living room, 2 SmartTVs and 3 TVs with Fire Sticks attached with several streaming apps for you to use or log in to your own. We allow well-behaved dogs without a fee. Please help us to keep it that way by not leaving your dogs alone in the house and by picking up/cleaning up after them. The back patio is a great place for them to stay if you go out for a bit! The yard is fenced but it's only 4 to 5 feet high so if you have a jumper or climber, please supervise them when they're outside. When the weather’s nice, you may prefer to take meals outside to the front patio and barbecue. There’s a gas grill, fire pit, large sectional and a 5 person hot tub which we always maintain and keep heated. We leave two tanks of propane for you. Charcoal and wood fires are not allowed outside. We utilize a ring doorbell camera with two-way audio to assist in check-ins as needed. We also live up the street so if you'd prefer us to meet you at check-in or if you need our help during your stay, we will make ourselves available. Otherwise, we will stay out of your way.

Because the house can sleep 13 people comfortably, this is a perfect house for family reunions, retreats, special event workshops, or a bunch of friends. You will be blown away by the mountain and forest views and the peaceful ambience. The house has much to offer from cozying up to the fireplace, to playing games in the spacious family room, to enjoying relaxing group dinners around the large dining table. Spread out in this spacious 3-story house with multiple living areas as well as a full kitchen, and 3 full bathrooms. The house has 4 bedrooms and a family room with a full size sofa bed and queen sized air mattress. It comfortably fits 13, with plenty of additional space to put down more air mattresses. You walk into the house onto the second floor where you will find the formal living room, dining area, guest bath, kitchen and one of the bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom is spacious with direct access to the balcony, has a desk, and a full size bed that pulls down out of the wall. On the lower level you will find the master bedroom with a king bed with a private bathroom. The master bedroom has direct access to the downstairs balcony that runs the length of the house. The lower level also has the family room, bathroom, and two other bedrooms: one with a queen size bed that also has access to the balcony and a bedroom with a full-twin bunk bed perfect for kids. Finally, in the family room there is a full size pull out sofa as well as a queen size air mattress. The air mattress is in the family room closet. If you use them, please deflate them and return them to the closet before you leave. The family room features a flat screen TV equipped with Roku that can be used to sign into your various video watching applications (such as netflix, hulu, vudu, amazon prime, etc. Just don't forget to sign out before you leave!). There are also plenty of games. This is NOT your typical, cabin with saggy beds and threadbare linens. All the beds and linens are new and of high quality and comfort. You'll find the bathrooms upgraded, modern and clean with good lighting and heat. The two decks are large, running the entire width of the house. The top deck has a grill, a small table. The downstairs deck has a rocking porch swing, great for relaxing and taking in the amazing view. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house except the garage and the closet in the master bedroom. Please note, the washer and dryer will not available to guests as it is in the garage which we keep locked. Interaction with guests You will have total privacy. The owners of the house do not live at the house, so it will just be you and your friends/family. You will receive a code to get into a key lock box to obtain the key, to get into the house at your convenience. You are welcome to check in anytime you like after 3pm. Though I am not there in person, I am available anytime by phone or email to answer any questions or concerns that you may have, please do not hesitate to reach out, we love to hear from our guests regarding their stay. Other things to note Other amenities: 4 TVs, dishwasher, a refrigerator, full kitchen. Kitchen has silverware, pots, pans, plates, glasses, and many other cooking supplies. House may or may not have enough paper towels, toilet paper, or trash bags for your whole group, but there is a nearby store to buy this if needed. All the beds have sheets, pillows, and pillow cases. There are extra blankets and pillows for the beds and couches, but if you have more than 13 guests, you will have bring sleeping pads, pillows, and sleeping bags for each extra person. We do supply hand soap, dish soap, and auto dishwashing detergent. TRASH: Please see house rules for how to dispose of trash. There will be a fee of $25 per bag left behind There is heat in the house, however, there is no centralized AC. There is an AC unit on the second floor, but with all the windows and balconies there is a great fresh breeze that cools the place down if it gets too warm downstairs.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD Crestline, CA is the closest mountain resort town to the major cities of Southern California. Located in the scenic San Bernardino Mountains, stunning Lake Gregory can be found in the heart of the town. Visitors can enjoy several outdoor activities, including fishing, boating, swimming, sunbathing and waterslides. Fitness buffs will find many hiking and biking trails, and Lake Gregory is ringed by a state-of-the-art fitness trail with numerous exercise stations. Shoppers will find truly unique stores in Crestline’s historic Old Town area and along Lake Drive. The town features numerous options for dining, and allows for easy access to the nearby areas of Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear. GETTING AROUND The house is about an hour-and-a-half drive from the Los Angeles area, and is easily reached by car or Uber/taxi. It’s also surrounded by an endless array of restaurants, nightlife, and shopping options. Grocery stores and other specialty shops are all close by, and we provide recommendations for anything you might need. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - Check-in time is 4PM, and check-out is 11AM. Early check-in/late check-out may be available upon request. Please don’t hesitate to ask us if interested. Late check-outs without prior approval with incur a $250 fee, as we need time to get the house ready for the next guest. - Minimum age for primary renting guest is 25. - Maximum of 3 vehicles parked at the property. Please park only in our designated parking area (2 cars in driveway and 1 car directly behind those cars). - Daytime max occupancy (including guests) is 16 people. Overnight occupancy is 8 people. - This is a residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise down after 10pm. - If a guest violates the county rules and a fine is imposed, the guest will be responsible for the payment of the fine. - Please put all trash in the bins next to the driveway. Make sure the lids are secure and the plastic lid/doors are closed properly. - Small pets are allowed for an additional $25/day per pet (2 pets max) and must be approved/paid prior to check-in. Any sign of pets on the property without our knowledge will incur an additional $250 fee. Our cabin is centrally located to not only Lake Gregory, but to local stores, restaurants, shopping, and walking/hiking areas. It is a walking distance to local Goodwin Market and you can walk or run along Lake Gregory. Our beautiful cabin brings back those nostalgic feelings of mountain life, while providing modern luxury with spectacular view of the forest and Lake Gregory. Our cabin comes with 3 bedrooms, a king size in the master bedroom (bottom floor), bunk bed with two queen size bed in the second bedroom, which seconds as a playroom, with a kids tepee (main floor), and the third bedroom has a king size bed and a sofa (the loft). Additionally, the main living room has a sofa and/or a request can be made for a queen size air mattress prior to stay. The cabin also has two bathroom, one in the bottom floor and the other in the main floor. We have a large deck that is perfect for barbecuing and entertaining friends and family or just having a romantic dinner for two. Welcome to Cherry Cottage, a three-level cottage nestled among pines and cedars just a few minutes from the village of Crestline. I’m new to VRBO so not a Super host (Yet!), but have lived ‘on the mountain’ for 18 years and love this little house and its surrounding areas. I think you will too! With a contemporary farmhouse feel and plentiful outdoor space, the cottage is ideal for family fun, a romantic getaway, or a relaxed stay in a serene, peaceful setting. You’ll find easy access to hiking trails, fishing, and nearby Lake Gregory, but it’s just as easy to stay home! Read a good book on the deck, grill a simple meal, or enjoy the sound of rustling trees along with a glass of wine—it’s up to you! The space In the summertime, the cottage’s most-used living areas are the two outdoor decks. The main sun deck (downstairs) has an umbrella-shaded table for six as well as a modern outdoor firepit—perfect for gathering as the sun begins to set, or even roasting marshmallows! The upper deck, right off the kitchen, offers a gas grill (for easy BBQ-ing) and a dining table for four. Inside, the cottage has three bedrooms and two baths spread out over three levels: Main Floor — The middle level (where you enter from) includes a cheerful kitchen with a wood-burning stove and full-size refrigerator, a comfy sitting area, and a remodeled bathroom with tub and shower. There’s also a bedroom on this floor with a full-size bed, whitewashed wood walls, and a ceiling fan. Upstairs —Two more bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twins, both with white vaulted ceilings, farmhouse quilts, and a breezy attic vibe. Downstairs —The den / family room is equipped with board games, cable TV, and Netflix, and a new bathroom with white tiled walls, and a spa-inspired glassed-in shower. The Cottage is fully stocked with all the essentials to make your stay hassle-free: towels, linens, blankets, kitchen and cooking utensils, paper goods, washer/dryer, and more. There’s also a shaded porch at the main entrance (see photos!), and in the garden you’ll find an outdoor lounge area next to a charming greenhouse, as well as a brick patio set with a bistro table for two. Finally, Cherry Cottage is within a stone’s throw—OK, less than a mile—from Lake Gregory and Crestline’s main drag. You could walk there in 15 minutes, but the hike back up the hill will be quite a workout! The drive takes three minutes, and in town you’ll find charming antique stores, a handful of bars and restaurants, and a reliable grocery store stocked with everything you might need for a group dinner. Lake Arrowhead Village is about 20 minutes away by car, and offers more dining and nightlife options. (See house handbook for restaurant recommendations.) Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, with room for two cars to park in the driveway. The greenhouse is a cute garden outbuilding painted to match the house, but it’s where we store landscaping tools and materials, so it’s locked to keep kids safe. Other things to note Please note that Cherry Cottage is NOT child-proof, and due to multiple stairways, may not be suitable for elderly guests or very small children. Please be careful and always use handrails. Please be aware there are slopes and uneven surfaces around the property. Dogs are welcome, and the backyard is fenced in. In the cooler months, the wood-burning stove on the main floor throws enough heat to keep the house and all the bedrooms toasty. Downstairs there is a small gas stove that does a good job of warming the bottom floor. (More detailed instructions for both included in house handbook.) The neighborhood Crestline is a charming little town in the San Bernardino Mountains. The main street is Lake Drive, where you’ll find antique shops, restaurants, bars, and a grocery and liquor store. Lake Gregory, with its waterfront activities, summer concert series, and farmers’ market, also serves as the heart of the community.
